It's Monday, Don't Forget To Be Awesome by Abby Daniella

Let’s bring it back to the good ol high school days: your parents are bugging you about who you’re hanging out with.
"Nah mom, Tracy ain’t a bad friend." (A month later you can’t stand her. And now you have a new best friend)
You hate to admit it, but she was right.
You're realizing that “you are who you hang out with” is such a true statement.
If you’re around people that (unknowingly) tear you down and tell you that you’re dreaming too big, you'll soon believe it.
What they're projecting on you is what's been projected on them whether they realize it or not.
This is why it’s important to surround yourself with greatness.
Who you hang out with is a reflection of who you are.
You ever notice that your ambitious and successful friends are usually the ones encouraging you to push yourself? Think about it.
Is there anyone around you NOT doing that? Doing the opposite?
Drop him, her, or them and start building with those that share similar qualities and interests. Go where they are and you'll stand out to THEM.
They're looking for you too!
If you surround yourself with energy that builds you up, makes you to grow, and challenges you to be a better you, you’re going to be greater tomorrow than you are today.

Sunday evening hits and you're laying in bed thinking "damn, tomorrow is Monday?"
Now, you're going over (in your head) everything that has to get done this week.
"@#$% whoever made up this calendar."
I've been there many times too and if you ask me, Monday's get a bad rep. But, it's a blessing in disguise. How?
Planning to start a healthy habit, but been procrastinating?
Today would be the perfect day to get the ball rolling on that.
Because it's another chance to start fresh and get it right. To at least get the wheels turning.
Let's be real: we can't escape all the struggle. So why complain?
This thought is a constant reminder. One that keeps us mature, grounded, and in-tune with reality.
You have at least 4 fresh starts a month to be in more control than you already are. Is this really THAT bad?
Too difficult? Too much to handle?
Monday is not your enemy. She can actually be your bestie.
You're not going to love everything about her all the time.
But I bet if you wake up next to her with a positive attitude, you'll have a better week than everyone who woke up today complaining, hoping that things would just "fall into place."
Carefully create your space and everything will fall where it's supposed to.
And it's always good to have a sense of directon. Let us know in the comments ONE thing you'll do differently this week to steer it towards your final destination.

Get to the top by any means necessary, right? You don't have to destroy the next person to reach your destination. Or do you? This is what most of us are taught our whole lives -- at least that's how we're acting. That there is limited opportunity to succeed. There's not enough to go around. "Get it before the next man can". Screw that, let me help you see why you should CREATE instead of COMPETE. Your creative mindset brings value and meaning to how you attack life and pretty much everything you set your mind to. Your creative mindset allows you to see what others can't.
Your creative mindset eliminates judgment and embraces curiosity, which only leads to more of your questions being answered... more of your problems getting solved. The reason most of us fail? We haven’t defined our destination and the path we’re going to take to get there. Really think about that for a second. Because what I'm noticing with our competitive mindset is that it makes us upset with the next person when they've successfully figured out how to live their dream. When they've figured out the thing that we want for ourselves but are too prideful to say, "I don't know how to do that yet, but I'd love to learn". It's like we're looking for a shortcut every single time.
A creative mindset allows you to see this, become inspired, and understand that you can learn something from everything and everyone around you. There's more than enough for everyone. Maybe you can update your approach. Maybe you can make a slight tweak. We live in a world where everyone's competing. But do we know what we're really competing for? Are you thinking about what someone else is doing, why they have what they have, how they're going about building what theirs building more than you're focused on what you can create to live to your highest potential? Don't be that guy, bro. Just create.
