Uni-G Advances to the Next Round of his Dream #roadtoafropunk

Uni (born March 24, 1989), better known by his stage name Uni-G, is an African-American hip hop recording artist, and record producer from the Bronx New York most known for his single “Go Get It”(co-produced by Quincy Jones III) and “Swerve”. Recently, Uni had the chance to compete against many others in the Afropunk Battle of The Bands competition and his dream came true; he is among the top finalist in the competition. He took to the streets of NYC rapping for random people, stood in front of different colleges, contacting his supporters, (UNites) and performed at different shows everyday during the competition to make sure he received the votes . Uni has now been given the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds including the official SESAC and Afropunk judges on June 21st-June 24th to prove that he is the MC that deserves to grace the main stage at the Afropunk festival this year. With entertaining live performances, powerful and moving lyrics, we are all looking forward to see what Uni does during semi-finals.
