New Memorials for PS 30: Honoring Those Who Made the School Home

When the memorial signs at PS 30 in Westerleigh started to wear from years of weather, Dianne Nudelman noticed — and set something in motion. Designer David Nudelman and teacher Jennifer Mezzadri worked together to create new memorials honoring five members of the PS 30 community who will never be forgotten.

David Nudelman led the School Spirit Enterprise program at Curtis High School, where students designed one-of-a-kind merch for their school — from concept to heat press to a live online store. On the last day of school, students and staff all walked away wearing something the students created.
