The Link Up Givemas 2025: Community Comes Together at Hub 17's New Media Center

December 7, 2025, marked something truly special for our community. The Link Up Givemas 2025 took place at Hub 17's brand new media center on 73 Wave Street in Staten Island, and what unfolded was nothing short of special.

The numbers tell part of the story: Hundreds of dollars raised for a beloved community member, hundreds of toys donated, and art contributions from more than a dozen talented artists. But what made this day unforgettable was the energy in the room—the vibe was pure family, fun, community, and connection.

A massive shout out goes to Lori Love and the entire Hub 17 team. Congratulations on the new media center, and thank you for allowing us to be part of the very first event in this incredible space. It was an honor to have the first community event at the the venue.

The event featured ornament designs donated by artists Outerrource ChrisRWK, Shrpy, John Exit, and Stereotype. The art gallery featured Prez, Kwue Molly, CRAM, Shawn McArthur, Braze, Menic, PK, Art by Dalo, John Exit, Tiffany Porcu, and Ratchi.

D3signer Dr3ams and St Thrillah kept the atmosphere alive with their music throughout the day, adding the perfect soundtrack to a celebration of community giving.

The generosity was at an all time high. It was great watching neighbors become friends, artists collaborate, and everyone rally around someone who needed support. That's what The Link Up and Givemas is really about. It's about showing up for each other, celebrating creativity, and building something bigger than ourselves.

We still have a few ornaments left from the artists for anyone who missed the event
